Your Favorite Songs? 03/06/07 10:25 PM
I happen to like lots of music. I was brought up with classical music and opera but I like everything from the Blues to Rap.

My favorite WCS songs....here are just a few:
Melissa Etheridge - I'm the Only One
Johnny Ferreira & The Swing Machine - My Baby Just Cares For Me
James Cotton - How Long Can A Fool Go Wrong
B-Tribe - Sometimes
Maroon 5 - Secret
Maroon 5 - Sunday Morning
Tracy Chapman - Give Me One Reason (live)
Gladys Knight & The Pips - Midnight Train to Georgia
Peter White - Let's Stay Together

Each song is very different...each one has it's own voice. Some have lyrics, some don't....but each one has a unique sound, which is what I like.

Hi Erik, There was a song by Tina Turner that you played when I took lessons at Al's Place. It wasn't "What's Love Got to Do With It," but it was great to dance and listen to. Thanks for allowing me and my 2 friends to "observe" you guys last Wed. I hope to see you this Wed. Joan

One of my favorite songs to dance to is "Undercover Agent for the Blues" by Tina Turner. Could that be it?

      Hope this helps,
      Jennie

There are quite a few that I enjoy for WCS.
          To name a few:

Eric Clapton - Before You Accuse Me
Glenn Frey - Who's Been Sleeping in My Bed
          Nelly Furtado - Afraid
Nelly Furtado - Say It Right
Prince - It's About That Walk
          Michael Jackson - Whatever Happens

They all have very interesting beats. Stimulating, fun, and great songs. They all have their own character like you said and allow the dancer freedom of interpretation.

              Beep beep

You played something Monday 6/9/08 I hadn't heard in a few years and forgot to ask what it was called.
